Food-contact materials
All products intended for food contact comply with applicable EU food-contact-material regulations (notably EC 1935/2004 and EU 10/2011 for plastics where relevant).
Supplier control
We work with carefully selected suppliers, with documented quality processes, audit trails and material declarations on file.
Documentation & certificates
Declarations of conformity, material safety data and certificates can be requested per product reference for trade and wholesale customers.
Traceability
Every batch is traceable from production lot to delivery — essential for hospitality compliance and any incident response.
Our approach
We prioritise quality, traceability and responsible suppliers across every category we sell — glassware, barware, coffee equipment, ingredients and serving. Our purchasing team reviews supplier documentation on onboarding and on a defined cycle thereafter, and we update product specifications when regulations or material standards change.
European regulations
Products sold into the European market follow applicable European food-contact and product-safety regulations. Where a product category falls under specific harmonised standards (for example food-contact ceramics, glassware or stainless steel), we ensure the supplier provides corresponding declarations of conformity and we keep them on file.
Requesting documentation
Hospitality, retail and distribution customers can request product-specific documentation — declarations of conformity, material safety data, technical specifications — by emailing info@scandicbar.com with the product reference. We respond within five business days.
Incident response
If you suspect a product quality or food-safety issue, please contact us immediately at info@scandicbar.com with the order reference, batch number and a brief description. We treat these reports as a priority and will respond within one business day.
