We Support Bartenders — what it actually means
Sponsorships, competitions, workshops and the small, quiet things we do for the working bartender community.

We Support Bartenders is not a marketing slogan for us — it's a budget line, a calendar and a long list of relationships we've built over forty years in hospitality. This article is a quick walk through what that actually looks like in 2026.
The most visible part is competitions. We sponsor regional and national bartender competitions across the Nordics, providing glassware, tools and prize packages. We also send our product team to most finals — partly to support, partly to learn what the next generation of bartenders are reaching for behind the stick.
The less visible part is education. We run small workshops in partnership with bar schools and hospitality programmes, covering everything from tool care and glassware selection to the basics of building a working back bar. These are free for students and structured around what graduates actually need on their first shift.
We also keep a steady programme of community support — sponsoring guest shifts, supporting bartender meet-ups, kitting out pop-ups, and helping early-career bartenders open their first venues with a discount on starter kits.
If you're organising a competition, a workshop or a community event and want to talk about a partnership, write to info@scandicbar.com with the brief and we'll come back to you.
